This week our Lenten journey takes us into the desert with Jesus shortly after his baptism as he is tempted by the devil with rewards of earthly comfort, safety and power. The devil is challenging Jesus’ commitment to his identity as God’s son and his Father’s mission for him (Matthew 4:1-11).
