EUFAULA — Consumers are expected to do a majority of their holiday shopping online this year with a 15.5 percent increase in online shopping from last year, according to a study by the National Retail Federation and Internet Retailer.
As demand continues to shift online for holiday shopping, Vyve Broadband has launched a local sweepstakes to help Eufaula and McIntosh County residents prepare to ‘get Cyber Monday Ready’ with their internet service.
Between now and Tuesday, Nov. 27, Vyve is offering 105 megabit-per-second internet service for only $39.99 per month plus equipment, taxes and fees, free installation (a $65 value), and a chance to win some of the hottest Wi-Fi-powered devices on the market in its Cyber Monday Ready sweepstakes.
“It’s critical to have the speed that enables you to grab those limited-availability online deals,” said Diane Quennoz, SVP of Marketing and Customer Experience at Vyve. “Our incredibly fast 105Meg internet will definitely give you an edge for cyber shopping and this pricing is really unbeatable.”
The sweepstakes prizes amount to a value of more than $7,000, including seven weekly prize drawings for an iPad Pro. One grand prizewinner will be awarded a Cyber Home Bundle packed with prizes, including a Ring HD Video Doorbell, Nest Learning Thermostat, iPad Pro, and Google Home Assistant.
“Every new internet customer from now through Cyber Monday will be able to enter for a chance to win,” Quennoz said. “Home automation is all the rage right now and as our lives become more connected than ever in this shift towards the ‘Internet of Things,’ we thought this would be a fun way to also reinforce the need for lots of Internet bandwidth to power everything.”
