Littleman earns state championship

Eufaula freshman Kayne Littleman won the state championship at 181-pounds and his teammate TJ Tuch placed 3rd in the same division.

Eufaula senior Luke Hodgins placed fourth in the 242-pound division at the OSSAA State Powerlifting meet in El Reno, Oklahoma on Friday. Hodgins benched pressed 335 pounds, squat 485-pounds and dead-lifted 520-pounds.

“I’m so proud of these kids. Luke jumped up into the 240-pound division and was very competitive and our younger guys really did an outstanding job as freshman. I’m very proud of each and everyone of our team,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.
