Local students were recognized for their work in the barn and in the show ring during the 2026 Eufaula Local Livestock Show and Premium Sale on Feb. 14, where exhibitors competed for top honors across multiple livestock divisions.
Oakley Parker was named Grand Champion Market Lamb and also earned Breed Champion Market Sheep and Junior Showmanship honors.
Rylan McQuay received the title of Grand Champion Steer. In the swine division, Lane Berry was awarded Grand Champion Breeding Gilt, and Brantley Berry earned Grand Champion Market Hog.
In the goat division, Maverick Huff was named Grand Champion Doe/Goat. Miranda Hansen earned the title of Supreme Heifer.
Logan Leeper was awarded Grand Champion Market Goat, while Codi Leeper was named Grand Champion Breeding Ewe.
Reserve and overall honors were also announced. GraceLynn Gawf received Reserve Grand Champion Breeding Doe. Dawson Whisenhunt earned Reserve Grand Champion Steer. Stetson Phelan was named Breed Champion Chester Market Hog.
Additional overall placements included Mathis Huff, 4th Overall Market Goat; Kristin Hansen, 3rd Overall Heifer; Macon Huff, 5th Overall Market Goat; and Jules Whisenhunt, 4th Overall Steer.
The annual event showcases the efforts of area youth who raise and exhibit livestock. The premium sale provides an opportunity for local businesses and community members to support students by purchasing their projects.
Organizers said the show continues to promote responsibility, leadership and agricultural education among participants.
