Invitation to the community: Share LECC’s Oct. 5 worship and feast!

The folks at LECC are counting the days to our annual dinner on the grounds—a Sunday when we spread long tables and even longer welcomes. It’s our favorite time to dine with our community neighbors and with guests looking for a church home. If you don’t currently have a church family that you worship with—we love to say, “Welcome home. You belong here.”

October 5 is the perfect day to come meet us. At 11 a.m., our inspiring “Fill the Tank” baptism service will increase your faith and lift your spirit—and after worship you can lift your plate and fill it with delicious fare!

The church provides a hearty lineup of meats, potatoes and gravy, and you’ll find salads, sides, rolls, and desserts that would make any grandma proud. No one leaves hungry at LECC.

But even better than a meal that makes you loosen your belt is the fellowship—grateful Christians ready with loving smiles, hugs, and a genuine “thanks for coming to meet our family.”

Bring the whole crew: kids, parents, grandparents— even that cranky neighbor. They will all be met with welcoming joy and appreciation. We have something for everyone at LECC.

• 10 a.m. Sunday School Bible Study: – Minis (Pre-K– 2nd grade) – KidsMin (3rd– 5th grade) – Awaken Student Ministry (6th–12th grade) Taught by a rotating team of 15 teachers— the same dedicated crew you’ll find on Wednesday nights.

Adults gather for an in-depth class taught each week by Miss Beth Little, whose Bible lessons keep a regular crowd engaged and amazed.

A nursery is always adult-supervised. After communion and the offering, teen volunteers help our adult staff escort younger children to activities until the end of the sermon.

Wednesday nights or “Midweeks” have their own flavor: – First Wednesday— Wednesday Warriors: Dinner begins at 6 p.m., then by 6:30 we have separate men’s and women’s groups with devotionals and prayer time uplifting each other, plus children’s groups, before everyone comes back together for a youth-led worship service at 7 p.m.

– Last Wednesday— Caring Crews: Adult class members pick up desserts at church and deliver them to fellowship with our widows and widowers who often can’t attend midweek services. All other aged classes remain the same on last Wednesday.

– Other Wednesdays: Dinner at 6, and fun, Bible- based classes for all ages at 6:30 p.m.

This Sunday, we cordially invite you to join us as we sing praises to our Lord, preach the gospel, and baptize believers. Then, our annual dinner on the grounds will be more than a meal—it will be a celebration of faith and friendship. We’d be delighted to share it with you. Come physically and spiritually hungry— leave filled, body and soul!

God bless you, Jeremy Little, Minister
