“Christianity asserts that every individual human being is going to live forever, and this must be either true or false. Now there are a good many things which would not be worth bothering about if I were going to live only seventy years, but which I had better bother about very seriously if I am going to live forever.” – C.S. Lewis.
Solomon writes in Ecclesiastes 3:11- “He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
There is something inside of each of us that shouts that we are more than just this life – that there must be something more. Solomon tells us that is because God has set eternity in human heart. That we need to consider the impact of our time on Earth on the time we will spend in eternity. The Scripture tells us that in our short time here that we must decide to receive Jesus or reject Him. That decision determines where you will spend your eternity and it affects the kind of life you will live here and now. Jesus has opened wide the doors of God’s grace if we will only receive Him as our Lord and our Savior. I pray that you will do that today!
