LECC invites guests for Easter ‘Feaster’

‘If you don’t plan to go to church Easter Sunday, but plan to eat something that morning, the congregation at Lake Eufaula Christian Church has an invitation for you. Dump your usual Sunday routine and join us at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 20, for a very special brunch— after which you may or may not stay for our worship service.

Last Easter—the first time LECC substituted brunch for the regular 10 a.m. small group Bible study classes— diners enjoyed the experience so much they wanted the Easter Feaster to become an annual event.

This invitation to guests comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, as anyone who’s ever tasted brunch catered by Amanda and Chef Eric Sutherland will tastefully confirm. “We’ll have a great celebration of the most powerful and hopeful story ever given to the world,” said Minister Jeremy Little. “He is risen!”

Resurrection eggs will be provided to all children both at brunch and worship, and there will be an opportunities before, during, and after brunch for family portraits with an Easterthemed backdrop.

Worship at 11 a.m. will feature a video made by LECC’s very active youth led by Associate Minister Bo Banfield.

Guests may dress as they’re most comfortable and may expect to find fashion among the members ranging from torn jeans and flip flops to high heels and fancy hats.

The congregation respects individual’s idiosyncracies while gathered to praise God together.

The invitation comes with another guarantee: guests will be welcomed warmly and will feel right at home.

See you Sunday at 415987 Highway 9, Eufaula!
