Simply God has given you a story and it is your privilege and obligation to share it. Your story may be the key to someone else’s prison.
In the Church we share what God has done in our lives to encourage the body and by sharing help people find their way to Jesus. God will send you to places to share your story. Just like Philip in Acts 8. God sent him to speak to an Ethiopian. Someone who was vastly different than Philip but someone that was seeking Jesus.
In Acts 8:30-31 – “Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.
“How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?”
So, he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. In Acts 8:35 – “Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.”
Philip obeyed God and God used him to share the story of Jesus and what Jesus has done. This is a story worth telling and every Believer has a story to tell. Go and tell!
