Eufaula standout offensive and defensive lineman Carson Luna has received his first collegiate offer from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
Luna has played a pivotal role in the Ironheads’ success on the gridiron. The 6’4”, 250-pound lineman has the skill set to play both sides of the football. He has great form, power and the speed to make big plays.
“I am very appreciative to have my first ever offer and I know it means a lot to my dad with him coaching me from little league all the way to now. This has always been both of our dreams and we are slowly accomplishing it together,” Carson Luna said.
Luna finished the 2023 season with 73 tackles and two forced fumbles and was voted as the 2A-6 All-District Co-Offensive Linemen of the Year.
“I’m very proud of Carson, he has worked extremely hard to get to this position. Very excited to see what his future holds,” Eufaula offensive coordinator and Carson’s father, Josh Luna said.
“Carson has played a big part in what we do on the line. He is a student of the game and is very versatile in that he can play multiple positions. I’m very proud of him and his dedication to the program,” Eufaula head football coach Larry Newton said.
