In the Class 2A Area IV Boys consolation at Roland the Warner Eagles used the fourth period to pull away and earn a hard fought 38-26 win over Howe. The win sends the No. 13 Eagles (17-11) to State and Jace Jackson had a huge part in that with 24 points and finishing 8-for-8 at the line.
Warner led 12-11 at the break and 21-18 at the end of the third period. Warner’s season ended as it lost to Howe, 40-26. The No. 8 Lady Eagles (19-8) trailed 3117 after three periods and was led by Harlie Chesser who finished with 14 points.
On Thursday Jace Jackson sparked No. 13 Warner to a 62-47 win over No. 15 Colcord as he finished with 23 points. Reed Pickering added 14 points and Jaxson Cash ended with ten. The Eagles (15-11) led 24-21 at halftime.
Oktah ends season at Class 2A Area III Consolation
Oktaha’s season came to an end as it fell to No. 13 Cashion, 70-45. Ryleigh Bacon led the No. 5 Lady Tigers with a double-double, ten points and 11 rebounds, while also registering seven steals. Cashion finished with 11 threepointers while Oktaha (23-6) struggled to shoot just over 30 percent for the night.
