Q and A with Pastor J.
I hear this occasionally. This is what/how I explain…
1) A Believer is a Christ-follower, not just a Church-attender.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.- John 10:26
2) A Believer is not perfect and does not expect if from others.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love – Ephesians 4:2
3) A Believer simply desires to fulfill the will of God in their life.
Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness. – Genesis 15:6
4) A Believer should not have to tell you; you should see that they are a Christ-follower.
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody. 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 5) A Believer does not have to match our description of what a believer should look like.
Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.” John 7:24 6) A Believers loves unbelievers.
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone. Colossians 4:5-6 We would love to meet you at FBC Eufaula! We have FBC Wednesday Nights at 6 p.m. Sunday’s have small group Bible studies at 8:45 a.m. and Worship at 10:00 a.m.
