Seniors, Advocates, Caregivers are invited to the Oklahoma State Capitol on Monday, March 11 for an important advocacy event. All are invited to be an advocate for all seniors and for the future of the state’s services for older Oklahomans. This is an opportunity to meet lawmakers and share your views on issues and legislation affecting Oklahoma’s elders. State agencies and nonprofit organizations will be there to provide attendees information on their programs and services for older Oklahomans.
Schedule: 8:30 a.m Sign-in and vendors open – 2nd floor rotunda 10:00 a.m. Senior Day session begins in the House Chamber – 4th floor 12:00 p.m. Continue visiting vendors and legislators’ offices 1:00 p.m. Event ends Registration is encouraged.
