I find it hard to forgive myself – you don’t know what I have done

Q and A with Pastor J.

No, I don’t. But God does. He knows what you have done and he knows your heart and your struggles. He knows all of this and still God offers us forgiveness. When God forgives – he forgives completely. He does not remind of our failures.

“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:11-12 You can be freed from the guilt of your past. You can decide today to live in the forgiveness of God and freedom of His forgiveness.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9 This tells us that God desires to offer us forgiveness in the name of Jesus. It also means that He offers us His spirit to forgive ourselves and others. Unforgiveness will poison your life. Jesus offers the antidote – His grace.

We would love to meet you at First Baptist Church.

Sunday worship is at 10 a.m. You are invited to worship with us. We would love to have the opportunity to get to know you and share the love of Jesus with you!

Know that you are loved! Pastor J. Ingram FBC Eufaula – www.eufaulafbc.org
