A 27-year-old Indianola man was injured in a three-vehicle accident north of McAlester Saturday, Dec. 22.
Investigators have not released the name of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
The accident took place at about 6 p.m. on Business Highway 69 and Triad Road, approximately to miles north of McAlester in Pittsburg County.
According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a 2018 Ford, driven by the unnamed man was traveling west on Business Highway 69 when it went left of center and struck head on an eastbound 2005 Chevrolet driven by William Snyder, 41, of Porter.
A 2016 Nissan, also eastbound, driven by Garrett Sabry, 20, of McAlester, then struck the Ford.
The unnamed man was transported to St. Johns in Tulsa in critical condition with head and trunk-internal injuries.
Snyder also was transported to St. Johns and admitted in critical condition with leg, trunk-internal and head injuries.
Sabry was not injured.
