Just a reminder, the library will be closed Dec. 23 – 25 and on Jan. 1, 2024.
But we will have tons of activities during the rest of the month.
On Friday, Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m. there will be a Teen Holiday Pinecone Craft session. Come create pinecone décor for the holiday season.
A teen Sewing Class is set for 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 26. Learn the basics of sewing and create a cute pillow.
There will be an Adult Wreath Making Class at 3:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 11. Come make a Holiday Wreath for your home.
Take your holiday family photo with us on Saturdays, Dec. 8 and Dec. 16, from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Use our background and your own photo equipment. We will provide one free print per family; others can be purchased for $1 each.
Other activities include: – Fundamentals of Art II, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Participants learn and use art vocabulary and art techniques in creating colorful memories. Experience with Art I suggested. For Youths 12 and older. Registration is required.
– Beginner Tai Chi, Mondays at 11 a.m.; advance Tai Chi, Mondays at 1 p.m.
– Creative story time 10 a.m. Thursdays. Shared read aloud and follow-up activity.
– SAIL (Staying Active and Independent for Life for Seniors); Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Fitness program for older adults which can be done standing or seated, to improve strength, balance and stamina.
