Lady Ironheads edge Checotah 2-1

The Eufaula Lady Ironheads edged in county rival Checotah 2-1 on Thursday. It was a give-and-take game for both squads. Adison McLaughlin got the win from the pitchers’ circle. She went seven innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out one and walking one. Eufaula first score came when McKenzie Crawley slapped a pitch for a base hit that brought Avery Williams across the plate.
