Checotah ends losing streak

The Checotah Wildcats (1-6) ended their six-game losing streak when they ran over Westville 50-34 at Ogle Field in Checotah. Westville (6-2) was a heavy favorite to win the game but Checotah head coach Zac Ross and the Wildcats had other thoughts. Checotah took an early lead when quarterback Zack Mullen marched his team into the red zone. The next play, Dontierre Fisher rumbled his way for a seven-yard score, but the extra point failed giving the Wildcats a 6-0 lead.
