It was a battle to the end between old rivals Eufaula Ironheads and Checotah Wildcats on Tuesday. In the end it would be the Lady Wildcats edging the Lady Ironheads 10-9. Gabby Noriega had the hot bat for Eufaula as she went 4-for-4 with a single in the first, single in the third, single in the fifth and homered in the sixth inning. But Noriega’s effort came up short as the Lady Wildcats scored two runs in the fifth, three runs in the sixth and seventh innings to get the 10-9 victory.
