Small businesses are the backbone of our economy. Small businesses make up 99% of businesses in Oklahoma and employ 52 percent of our state’s workforce. The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged our communities in ways we have never seen before and our small businesses have been among the hardest hit. Between closing nonessential businesses and reducing services to help slow the spread, small businesses have been forced to make tough decisions.
