Heart healthy

Being a daddy’s girl and a former hospice volunteer coordinator, I couldn’t let the month of February go by without saying something about heart health. You see, Feb. 11 was my daddy’s birthday and February is Heart Awareness Month. My dad passed away with end-stage heart disease at the age of 67, leaving a hole in my heart.
