William Howard "Bill" Yearton Jr.

September 22, 1954 - June 28, 2019

William Howard "Bill" Yearton Jr., 64, of Eufaula, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, at his home. Bill was born on September 22, 1954, in Sycamore, Illinois, the son of William Howard and Amy Viola (Paulson) Yearton.

He graduated from Eufaula High School in 1972 and received a degree in Drafting Design from Northeastern State University in 1976.

He married Dawn Marie Clendening. They shared 34 happy years together. Bill worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for Tubby McDonald. He designed several buildings in Eufaula. Bill also drove a truck cross country from Chicago to California every other week for many years. He also worked in construction. Bill was a jack of all trades.

Survivors include: his wife, Dawn, of the home; his sons, Ehren and Avree of Eufaula; his brothers, Richard, Kenneth and Randy; his sisters, Lydia, Beatrice, Anna, Betty and Linda and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Danny.

A memorial service was held 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at the Kelley Memorial Chapel with Mike Brannon officiating.

Services were under the direction of Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
