What do I do after Easter?
By Know that you are loved! Pastor J. Ingram ? First Baptist Church of Eufaula, OK,

Celebrating the resurrection of Jesus is wonderful, but after Easter, what comes next? When the Church was young and needed guidance on its next steps. They did what Jesus instructed them to do. Like Baby Lambs, they (and we) are dependent on the guidance of our Lord and through His Holy Spirit. When the Church was young, Jesus gave it two instructions.

The first was to prepare. “On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5 The second was to proclaim. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8 We follow that same directive today. We prepare our hearts, and then we proclaim the Good News. After Easter, we must prepare our hearts for what God is doing. After Easter, we must proclaim the Resurrected Jesus to the world and invite them into the family of God.

We would love to meet you and help you, and you endure and overcome! I think you will find something special in our fellowship. Here you can find a place to grow close to God. First Baptist Church is located at the corner of 4th and Foley. Morning Bible Study begins at 8:45 a.m., with our Morning Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. Our Wednesday Night programs begin at 6 p.m. I would also like to invite you to visit our website at www.eufaulafbc. org.
