Oklahoma let a late lead slip and fell 8982 to West Virginia in overtime Sunday in the College Basketball Crown championship at T-Mobile Arena.
The Sooners erased a 15-point deficit and led by seven with 4:19 left in regulation before Tae Davis tied it at 76 with a layup in the final seconds. OU went up 82-76 in overtime, but West Virginia answered with three straight 3-pointers to take control.
Nijel Pack led OU with 24 points and seven assists, while Davis added 19 points and six rebounds. Xzayvier Brown had 13 points and four assists.
West Virginia capitalized on 14 OU turnovers and a strong 3-point showing (15 of 33) to secure the win. Oklahoma finished the season 21-16.
