Two local restaurants to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants

Eufaula’s local dining scene is getting national attention as not one, but two independently owned restaurants will be featured on upcoming episodes of America’s Best Restaurants (ABR). The ABR Roadshow will be filming in Eufaula on April 9, 2026, highlighting both Tumbleweeds Steakhouse on the Water and Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza. Filming schedule:

• Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza — 10 a.m.to 1 p.m.

• Tumbleweeds Steakhouse on the Water — 3 p.m.to 6 p.m.

The public and press are welcome to attend both filming sessions.

At Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza, owners Janette and Bob Davis have built a loyal following by bringing Tignanelli-style pizza to Eufaula. What began as a food truck has grown into a brick-and-mortar destination known for fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and a commitment to the community.

At Tumbleweeds Steakhouse on the Water, guests experience a oneof- a-kind floating steakhouse on Lake Eufaula. Led by the Crockett family, the restaurant combines decades of hospitality experience with hand-cut steaks, signature dishes, and scenic lake views. The America’s Best Restaurants Roadshow highlights independent restaurants across the country through storytelling, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage. Each restaurant will receive its own dedicated episode, promoted across America’s Best Restaurants’ social media platforms, website, and each restaurant’s Facebook page. “This is an exciting opportunity not just for these restaurants, but for the entire Eufaula community,” said Lisa Bailey, Director of Content for America’s Best Restaurants. “We’re proud to showcase the people, passion, and local flavor that make this town special.” Mama Tig’s Wood Fired Pizza is located at 123 Selmon Road in Eufaula, OK 74432 www.mamatigspizza. com.

Tumbleweeds Steakhouse on the Water is located at 400 1/2 Lakeshore Drive in Eufaula. tumbleweedsonthewater. com.
