Eufaula residents turned out Friday evening for a night of food, fellowship and giving as the EFUMC United Methodist Men hosted their “Chili for the 180” Building Fund Dinner at the church.
Held March 27 at 251 Mathews Lane, the event welcomed guests from 5 to 8 p.m., offering a full homemade meal and a chance to connect with others in the community.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of chili options, along with fresh salad and cornbread, creating a hearty meal with something for every taste. A wide selection of homemade desserts provided a sweet finish to the evening, with many of those treats featured in a lively dessert auction led by the lively Dennis Vangel.
Live music added to the atmosphere throughout the night, helping create what organizers described as a “culture-building evening of fellowship, music, generosity, and shared mission.”
More than just a meal, the supper served as a fundraiser for the church’s “180 Building Fund Initiative,” which supports future improvements and growth for EFUMC. Attendees not only shared a meal but also contributed to the church’s ongoing efforts to invest in its facilities and outreach.
With strong community support, the evening delivered on its goal of bringing people together while raising funds for a meaningful cause.
