Texanna Lady Crafters
news
March 4, 2026
Texanna Lady Crafters

The Texanna Lady Crafters are more than a shop. They are a dedicated group of volunteers who pour their time and talent into handcrafted treasures, including baby quilts, handbags, wreaths, floral arrangements and more.

Twice a year, the group transforms generous donations into a large community bazaar, complete with a wide selection of homemade baked goods. The spring event is scheduled for May 1 and 2. Proceeds from the sale are reinvested in the local community.

Leading the organization this year are newly elected officers: Helen Tremain, president; Sandy Bethel, vice president; Claudia Hazleton, secretary; and Lisa Smart, treasurer.

The shop is open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Visitors can browse a variety of handcrafted items and leave with a special gift — or something for themselves — knowing their dollars support several nonprofit organizations and local volunteer firefighters.

Anyone interested in joining this welcoming organization is encouraged to stop by for more information. New members are always welcome.
