EHS Superintendent Montie Guthrie accepts a game ball donation from Board Vice President Martha Asher. The game ball is signed by all the members and coaches of the 2020 Lady Ironheads basketball team. This outstanding team of athletes made it to the state competition that year, only to be shut out by the Covid pandemic on game day. It was a particularly heartbreaking end to the season for a team favored by many to take state that year.

The ball is on display in the EPS central office until the new Event Center facilities are completed.
