STIGLER – Robbie Lee Davis, 69, peacefully passed from this life on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Tulsa, OK, surrounded by her loving family. No services at this time.
SAND SPRINGS/EUFAULA – Willard Ray Downum, 82, peacefully passed from this life on Monday, February 23, 2026 in St. Joseph, Missouri, surrounded by family. Services were held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory in Eufaula, OK.
CHECOTAH – Angeline Carter Brooks, 74, was called home to be with the Lord for a job well done on February 22, 2026. A memorial service for her and her son Tracy Scroggins, who passed Feb. 6, was held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Checotah.
EUFAULA – Virgil G. “Bub” Osten, 83, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Monday, February 23, 2026. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 11 at 2 p.m. at North Fork Baptist Church.
CHECOTAH – Mary Patricia Massey, 83, passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2026. No services are planned.
WAGONER – Carl Dean Hicks, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. Honoring Carl’s wishes, cremation is planned, and no services have been scheduled at this time.

CHECOTAH – Jimmy Ray Lashley, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, 2026. Graveside services honoring Jim’s life were held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Checotah, OK.
HOLLYWOOD, FL/CHECOTAH, OK – Tracy LeDon Scroggins passed away at the age of 56, in Hollywood, Florida, on February 6, 2026. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Checotah for Tracy and his beloved mother, Angeline Brooks, who passed on February 22.
TULSA/PIERCE -Vernia (Bunny) McIntosh, 82, formerly of Pierce, OK, passed away on January 16, 2026. Ashes will be interred at Pierce Cemetery at a private service.
