Progress continues on the new EHS Event Center
By Shauna Belyeu General Manager,

Construction continues on the new high school event center at Eufaula High School, marking a major step forward in the district’s efforts to enhance its campus facilities.

Thanks to Eufaula voters, big changes are in the works for Eufaula school campuses, changes that will allow the district to continue to grow and provide quality education.

“Eufaula Public Schools is excited to share several major improvements that reflect our continued commitment to students, staff, and the future of our district,” Eufaula Athletic Director Jeremy Gragg said..

Construction of the new Eufaula High School Event Center is being completed by Beshear’s Construction of Fort Smith, with architectural design services provided by Principle Design of Norman. School officials have said the project team was selected to ensure the facility meets both the functional needs of students.

“Thanks to the ongoing support of our community, we are moving forward with the construction of a new gymnasium, the installation of turf on our football field and the addition of an extra wing at Eufaula Middle School to welcome 5th grade students as they move up to the middle school campus.

“These projects represent more than just facilities-they represent opportunities. The new gymnasium and turf field will enhance student athletics, activities, and school pride, while the middle school expansion will allow us to better serve our growing student population and support a smoother academic and social transition for our 5th graders.

“We are incredibly thankful for the continued trust, investment, and support of our Eufaula community. These improvements are a direct result of your commitment to education and to providing the best possible learning environment for our students. Together, we are building a stronger future for Eufaula Public Schools,” Gragg said..
