Heartland Heritage Museum & Gallery to host anthropologist
The Heartland Heritage Museum and Gallery is hosting another meeting of special interest on anthropology on Thursday, February 19 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Mel Phillips of the Oklahoma Anthropological Society will talk about how he identifies locally found arrowheads and other similar items. Everyone is encouraged to bring their ‘finds’ and join in a ‘show and tell’ session with other locals. This will be a monthly event on the third Thursday of each month from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Hope to see some interesting finds!
The public is invited and the session is free of charge.
