Eufaula competes at Checotah Power-lifting meet

The Eufaula Ironheads competed against some of the best power-lifting schools on Wednesday at Checotah. Hundred of student-athletes participated in the event.

“I’m very proud of our Ironheads today at the Checotah Powerlifting meet,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.

4th overall team points Junior High Results “We went today to the Checotah Power-lifting meet for the JH boys and Girls. They did an outstanding job consider-ing we have not gone to a JH meet in a few years. We even had a 6th grade boy place in the 7th grade weight class. We competed today with

7th Boys, 8th Boys, 9th Boys and 9th Girls. So proud of them all. Getting out of their comfort zone and competing,” Eufaula head coach Larry Newton said.
