A bench warrant has been issued for a 27-year-old McIntosh County man who failed to appear in court for a hearing held on Dec. 18, 2025.
Arnold Willard Carey Jr. forfeited his $50,000 bond.
He is charged with second degree rape, lewd molestation, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and obstructing an officer.
According to Deputy Sheriff Bailey Degraffenreid, he was dispatched to a rural residence after a 17-year-old juvenile was reported missing.
Degraffenreid later discovered the female with the suspect in the parking lot of the Lake Eufaula Inn in Eufaula.
Deputy Matthew Youngblood joined the investigation at the motel.
According to Youngblood’s Probable Cause Affidavit, Carey said he met the girl on online service Discord and that she told him she was 19.
