The Eufaula Ironheads cruised to a 65-49 victory over the Checotah Wildcats Tuesday night at the Checotah Event Center. It was a tough start for both teams as they exchanged score for score. The third period was all Eufaula as they outscored Checotah 25-7. The Ironhead defense was effective and dominant. Ty Sparks, Logan Plant, Blayden O’Brien and Keaton Parish forced turnovers while scoring in transition. Both teams combined for 40 points scored in the fourth period but the large deficit was too much for the Wildcats to overcome as Eufaula went on to win 65-49.
