Volunteers place Wreaths Across America.
This was by far one of the most humbling and proudest days I’ve ever been able to be a part of. If you don’t know what Wreaths Across America is, I encourage you to look into it!
I had the honor to be a part of it this year standing next to my grandma Ruth Haste at Fort Gibson, honoring heroes who no longer are here in their physical bodies but who’s spirits, and stories will forever live on.
Families, Veterans, and even volunteers gather to pay tribute, by laying wreaths on fallen soldiers’ final resting spot.
I’m extremely grateful to have been a part of it and to now begin this amazing tradition of volunteering every year to help place wreaths with my family.
We all miss you grandpa and will forever share and cherish your stories and legacy (Ms. Jones is a resident of Indiana, visiting her grandmother Ruth Haste)
