Eufaula’s Hodgins commits to OBU

A Eufaula running back will stay in-state and play collegiately at Oklahoma Baptist.

Luke Hodgins, a 6’1”, 220-pound running back and linebacker for the Ironheads, announced his commitment to the Bison Wednesday.

“I am blessed to announce my commitment to play running back for Oklahoma Baptist University,” Hodgins said in a social media statement. “Thank you (running backs coach Stetson Harkness) and (offensive coordinator Daniel Eaton) for the opportunity! Ready to work!”

This season, Hodgins had 1,065 total yards and six touchdowns on offense and recorded 114 tackles, 13 for losses, six sacks, 36 quarterback hurries, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

Oklahoma Baptist is a member of the Great American Conference which participates in NCAA
