The 12th Annual McIntosh County Law Enforcement Shop with a COP event will take place this week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Law enforcement officers, in partnership with school districts, will be escorting students from around the county on a Christmas shopping spree in Eufaula and Checotah who might otherwise not have a good Christmas.

DA Investigator Kevin Branscum wants to remind folks to expect road closures and delays as the law enforcement convoy travels from place to place.

“We apologize for the in- convenience, but we find this necessary to ensure the safety of the program participants,” Branscum said.

McIntosh County Law Enforcement Shop with a COP appreciates the communities’ support and generous donations which makes this all possible year after year.
