Friendship Kitchen offers sit-down/drive-thru meals

Friendship Kitchen is excited to share with Eufaula and surrounding communities this Saturday.

Free hot meals
— Everyone is invited to come to the Kitchen at the United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall, 251 Matthews Lane, Eufaula, sit down and enjoy a lunch and socialize.

Meals are served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Take-out meals are available after 12:30 p.m.

Friendship Kitchen Volunteer Team, United Methodist Church, First Assembly of God Church, Community Culture Church, Wayland Baptist Church and St. Paul’s Catholic Church are looking forward to seeing you.

Eufaula VFW Post 8793

VFW Auxiliary 6799 would like to help you properly dispose of your worn out Old Glory.
We will exchange your 3×5 United States American Flag for a brand new one. Dates will be announced after the upcoming months; a retirement ceremony for these flags will be held Holiday open and the community.

We will only exchange the flag one of 3×5 but will accept any size for retirement.


Buffalo United Methodist Church

Buffalo United Methodist Church will be hosting the food pantry on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Methodist Church, 251 Matthews Lane, Eufaula.

Anyone in need of food assistance will be welcomed.
Currently, we are collecting non-perishable food donations.

Any of the following items will be greatly appreciated:

  • Canned soups, broth & chilis
  • Canned fish/meats
  • Mac & cheese packs or boxed
  • White rice, brown rice
  • Dry pastas
  • Beans (dried or canned)
  • Canned potatoes
  • Rice, soup, peanut butter, protein bars
  • Cereal, nut butter
  • Cheese crackers and fruit juices

Donation food drop-off locations:

  • Bank of Eufaula
  • Farmers State Bank
  • Legacy on Main Street

Mom’s Morning Out

The Eufaula United Methodist Church, 251 Matthews Lane, is accepting applications for Mom’s Morning Out. This will be on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The cost is $25 and is open for ages 6 months to 3 years.

Catholic Charities food distribution

Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma sends its mobile food pantry to Eufaula on the second Friday of each month.

Distribution normally begins at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 502 S. 6th St.

Bring an ID for each family receiving food; vehicles receive a box with shelf-stable supplies.


DAV McIntosh County Chapter #3

The DAV McIntosh County Chapter #3 meets on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at 11029 S. 4184 Rd., Checotah (1/2 mile west off Onapa Rd.).
Open to all veterans.

The Buffs Indian Community

Meets on the last Thursday of every month at Stidham Rd., Eufaula.
