Porter woman dies in accident
A 48-year-old Porter woman was killed when she lost control of her vehicle on SH 266 and SH 72 in McIntosh County Wednesday, Oct. 8, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The OHP report stated that Sarah L. Bratt was northbound on SH 266 shortly before 1 p.m. when she departed the roadway to the right and traveled through a gravel parking lot.
The vehicle then traveled back onto the roadway, sliding out of control, leaving 162 feet of skid marks before overturning twice, ejecting Bratt.
An unidentified passenger was injured.
