We had a great turnout at our picnic a couple of weeks ago, thank you to all who attended! There were several door prize winners and a pretty nice handful of new visitors, so it was a great time of just getting to know one another.

We have Rep. Tom Gann as our speaker this month on Thursday, Oct. 23 at the Eufaula VFW at 6:30 p.m. Rep Gann will be speaking to us about the insidious usage of surveillance camera systems right here in our very own Oklahoma and why the legislature is fighting so hard to pass legislation to legalize these devices. I hope you will join us to hear about this and many other pertinent topics!

We have received a couple of applications for the Charlie Kirk Memorial Scholarship – we are seeking a conservative youth aged 17-21 to be an intern for McIntosh County GOP. In return, we want to award that young person a scholarship for their college tuition.

The McIntosh County GOP Welcome Wagon has started off with a bang – if you received a letter from us, watch for your precinct chair to come visit you with a “swag bag” of goodies.

We have so many exciting activities coming up such as our Patriot Retreat, we will have Bob Donahoo at our Nov. 20 meeting (note it is moved up a week due to Thanksgiving) and on Dec 18 we will have our annual Christmas Party. Be watching for details.
