Letter to the Editor Like my phone, I’m sure everyone says Columbus Day is next Monday. Not in our house. It’s Indigenous Peoples Day and it always will be.

Just because some white supremacist says it isn’t doesn’t mean crap to me. All that was only meant to help insecure cultists who think the color of their skin makes them better than anyone else feel special again.

This may come as a shock but our ancestors were here hundreds, if not thousands of years before European settlers set foot on our land. And they were also here long before immigrants named Trump landed here too.
