Sam Wampler Freedom Ford of Eufaula spent a week gathering food that will be available to anyone who needs it at Under One Roof.
It was a generous effort by the dealership, who turned over a truck-load of food to the charitable organization located at 107 McKinley Ave.
Under One Roof Executive Director Kim Woodruff said there are no restrictions for those who need food.
“You don’t need to have an ID or missing an arm or a leg,” she said. “We’re very informal. We’re just your neighborhood helper.”
She said the organization gets a lot of food donations because it doesn’t have a lot of restrictions.
“We’re not like a formal food bank,” she said.
Woodruff stressed that her organization doesn’t want to take the place of any other group.
“We just want to fill the cracks,” she said.
Those who attended the donation ceremony included:
• Zac Anderson, General Manager of Wampler Ford
