McIntosh County GOP News
By LYNELLE MEDLEY CHAIRMAN

Well McIntosh GOP has had a very busy week and have lots of activities coming up, so hold on tight! This past Saturday I attended the OKGOP State Executive Committee meeting which was immediately followed by our central committee attending and participating in the parliamentarian process at the OKGOP State Committee meeting where we represented McIntosh County’s interests at the state level.

I would love to share all that occurred but not sure we have enough space to do so, but you are welcome to reach out to us and we’ll be happy to fill you in. We might also do an update at one of our next meetings because we believe it’s important that we pass along the news and what we learn!

So our first activity we have coming up is our meeting on Sept 25 which will be held in the form of an informal picnic at Nichols Point for all members and guests! We will feed all who show up and of course there will be a fair share of desserts and drinks as well, so please come out and say hello and enter our multiple drawings!

We’ll see if we can’t talk our House reps and our Senator into joining us though we won’t necessarily have any official speakers for that evening. Bring the kids and let’s all have some fun and get to know one another.

After the week we’ve all had losing Charlie Kirk, one of the greatest conservative voices in modern history, I believe it’s important we return to our roots God, Family, and Country.

Speaking of Charlie Kirk, we have launched the Charlie Kirk Memorial Scholarship — in honor of how Charlie gave his life reaching out to the youth, we are looking for a conservative youth as an intern and in return we wish to give that individual a boost towards their college tuition, so please share this information with them!

Details are on the McIntosh County GOP Facebook group or you may text us at 918.617.6124.

Are you a newly registered Republican voter in McIntosh County? If so, we will be sending you a welcome letter and if you are newly registered since June 1st, we will be following that letter up with a visit from the McIntosh County GOP Welcome Wagon. You will be visited, in most cases, by your very own precinct chair or vice chair and we will have a swag bag of information and goodies for you so please be watching for us!

We have started our annual gun giveaway you can contact us via text or FB message if you are interested.

Tickets are $5 minimum donation for one or $20 minimum donation for five tickets.

The giveaway will be held at the annual SantaLand Bazaar in December, but don’t wait, we do not sell unlimited tickets! We are busy organizing our annual Patriot Retreat which will be held in conjunction with Rogers County GOP down in Beaver’s Bend on Halloween weekend.

This is open to Patriots across the state, so if you have ever thought of getting involved with the Republican party or know anyone who might be interested, now is the time. You can text us or find more information on our FB page.

Well, like I said, we are busy, busy, busy…. but it’s all GOOD and we are grateful to be so blessed. We would love to bless you as well, so please join us on Sept 25th for a free meal and let’s see how we can help you to grow as a patriot. See you soon!
