Miss Janaya McIntosh of Eufaula is a candidate for the upcoming 2025 Miss Indian Oklahoma pageant.
The Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women (OFIW) pageants offer young Native American women a chance to showcase the beauty and lifeways of their Tribal Nation, traditions and themselves.
Miss McIntosh is honored to represent the people of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and the Eufaula community.
Her platform “Empowering Native Voices” is her focus to ensuring Native communities are respected, heard and supported in ways that improve overall wellbeing.
Miss McIntosh is a NSU graduate as a speech-language pathologist clinician. She advocates for culturally responsive approaches in education and healthcare in various settings.
Miss McIntosh is seeking donations for ads to be published in the Miss and J. Miss Indian Oklahoma Pageant Program to be sold by the Oklahoma Federation of Indian Women (OFIW). The OFIW will design, print and distribute a high-quality souvenir program booklet to commemorate the 2025 pageant.
Deadline for ads is Oct. 3.
