WARNER – Warner Police responded to a call early Saturday morning about a dead man laying outside of a residence in the area of Fifth and Third streets.
The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Jesse Martin of Warner.

Officers located a man suffering from a gunshot wound at a nearby residence.
During the investigation, OSBI special agents and Warner Police officers identified an adult male who may have been involved in an altercation with Martin at the time of his death.
The man was treated at a nearby hospital.
Ross said after obtaining a search warrant, investigators found at the unidentified man’s residence items related to the homicide investigation.
While executing the warrant, officers also located what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The OSBI said the Muskogee County District Attorney’s Office will determine official charges to be filed.
At the time of the search, Ross said a minor child was present in the second residence.
The Oklahoma Deparment of Human Services was contacted and responded to the scene.
The child was placed in the care of family members.
