The Oklahoma Cattlewomen announced recently that Baylee Smith was the recipient of their OSW Scholarship of $2,500. Baylee was one of three young women honored as Oklahoma Cattlewomen scholarship winners at the 2025 OCW Awards Luncheon at the Embassy Suites in Norman last month.
Baylee, the daughter of Kevin and Julie Smith, was a member of Oktaha FFA for five years and Oktaha 4-H for six years before she graduated in 2024. Baylee began showing Hereford heifers when she was only 13 and then moved to showing Limousin as she transitioned to Connors State College. Throughout college she has continued to collaborate with the Oklahoma Collegiate Cattlewomen’s organization and has also remained a member of the following:

• North American Limousin Junior Association
• Green Country Cattlewomen
• Oklahoma Cattlewomen
• Oklahoma Junior Hereford Association
• Oklahoma Hereford Association
• American Hereford Association
At the awards luncheon Avery Wisdom also received the OCW Legacy Scholarship and Emma Lynn received the J.B. & Betty Smith Memorial Scholarship.
