The Eufaula Police Department is proud to announce the receipt of two generous contributions that will directly support the purchase of greatly needed safety equipment for its officers.
Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) and COBANK have partnered to provide a joint donation of $7,500, and East Central Electric Cooperative’s Operation Round Up Foundation has awarded an additional $3,676.20 grant.
Together, these contributions total more than $11,000, funding vital safety equipment which will strengthen Officer safety and communications to further the enhancement of community protection.
“Officer safety is a top priority, and these donations help to ensure our department has the tools needed to perform our duties effectively while keeping both our officers and citizens safe,” said Chief David Bryning, Chief of the Eufaula Police Department. “We are sincerely grateful to CVEC, COBANK, and East Central Operation Round Up for their continued support of law enforcement and our community.”
The new equipment funded by these donations will allow the Eufaula Police Department to operate with greater efficiency, preparedness, and safety in serving the citizens of Eufaula.
