In July, we celebrated Whole Hawg days early. The room was flooded with pink balloons decorated as pigs with pink tablecloths.

The hostesses were Kay Owens, Kim Holloway and Iris Harp. There were lots of hostess gifts and much fun. Good job, Ladies!

Our guest speaker was Mary Arteberry, who has a passion for plants. You can see from the picture what a gorgeous selection she presented for us. She starts her plants in water, mainly to be enjoyed as indoor decoration.

If you wish, you can plant them in pots and place them outside in the light morning sun. Mary also is educated about medicinal plants, where they grow and how to use them.

She graciously left some of the most beautiful for door prizes. Thank you so much, Mary!

After our meeting, we drew for door prizes and played pig trivia for more prizes. Several members walked away with smiles!

In August, our guest speaker was Leslie Lampi. Her topic is “Purge and Organization of The Home.” We could all use some organizing!
