Whitefield girl named Princess

Six-year-old Lakyn Spur Stancell, daughter of Cole and Paige Stancell of Whitefield, has been named Princess of the 41st annual Whole Hawg Days Rodeo.

Lakyn graduated from Whitefield Public Schools and will attend Faithful Grace Christian Academy in the fall.

She enjoys spending time with her three sisters, riding her horse “Ed” and participating in her church group “Daisies” at Stigler First Assembly.

She also enjoys going to the library and tumbling.

She participates in Stigler Roundup Club fun night series as well as McAlester RUC play days. Lakyn loves the rodeo atmosphere and all the friends she has made and continues to make in the rodeo world.
