On July 24 at 6:30 p.m., the City of Eufaula will officially launch into service their new fire suppression and rescue boat, Police Chief David Bryning announced.
“It has been a long journey and many man hours to accomplish this for the citizens and visitors of Eufaula,” Bryning said. “This boat will serve our community and show the City’s ongoing commitment to the safety and protection of all who visit our City.”
The launch ceremony will take place in the cove on Lakeshore drive at the volleyball court.
“There are so many donors to thank for this opportunity, because without the community’s support this program would not have been possible,” Bryning said.
