Eufaula hosting July 4 Celebration

Mayor James Hickman and the City of Eufaula are honored to invite residents and visitors to the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on Friday, July 4.

The fireworks will begin shortly after sunset and will be launched from Nichols Point.

This location ensures the maximum safety while boasting visibility from both the lake and throughout town.

The school district invites the public to view the fireworks from the visitors bleachers at the high school campus.

“As we come together to celebrate Independence Day, I want to extend heartfelt appreciation to the people of Eufaula,” Hickman said. “Your community spirit, kindness, and support for one another is what makes our city such a special place to call home.”

Hickman also offered a warm welcome to the many visitors expected over the holiday weekend.

“Eufaula has long been a destination for the Fourth of July, and we are excited to welcome our guests to enjoy our beautiful lake, downtown shops, and smalltown hospitality,” said the Mayor. “Whether you’re here for the day or the whole weekend, we hope you feel at home.”

City Manager Jacob Foos expressed gratitude for those that contribute to this celebration.

“We would like to thank the emergency responders, including the Eufaula Volunteer Fire Department and Eufaula Police Department, as well as staff and volunteers who help make this event safe, festive, and memorable each year,” he said.

As a reminder, the City of Eufaula asks everyone to follow all directions from police, fire, and emergency personnel throughout the event. Their presence ensures a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.
